American River Parkway Foundation ProgramsThe American River Parkway Foundation supports the preservation, protection, and appreciation of the natural resources of the American River Parkway. July 21st, 2012 - Presented by Eppie's Great Race Foundation. Held along the scenic American River Parkway in Rancho Cordova and Sacramento. It's the LARGEST paddling event in the U.S.! August 4th, 2012 - Spend the day on the American River with your friends or family, complete with a raft, water fights, beverages, a barbecue, ice cream, music, and dancing for a donation.
